- Meredith worked as a public defender in New York City, representing residents of Harlem and Upper Manhattan in New York Family Court on neglect and abuse cases. She also represented NYC domestic workers in their claims against employers for harassment, discrimination, and wage & hour violations.
Life Beyond JC
- Working towards becoming a Hong Kong-registered solicitor and making modest (and often embarrassing) attempts at Chinese.
In addition to her direct representation and litigation work in New York City, Meredith previously worked in Hong Kong with NGOs covering issues from improved rights for domestic workers, and anti-death penalty advocacy. She is the author of Cleaning up the Industry: Improving Protections for Precarious and Child Domestic Workers
