Join Justice Centre Hong Kong and the Hong Kong refugee community to cycle through the streets of Hong Kong. This unique, family friendly event will run through Kowloon; starting in Olympic and ending in Jordan. We will stop at a number of key places of interest where you can learn about the history and life of Hong Kong’s refugee population.
Stops will include:
- The area where Edward Snowden found shelter during his time in Hong Kong,
- A visit to Mei Ho House, a heritage museum and the first settlement for refugees who fled from China.
- Experience the parts of Sham Shui Po where many of Hong Kong’s refugees live.
We’ve teamed up with Hong Kong Cycling Alliance whose experienced cyclists will ride with us in support of World Refugee Day. The police will provide a motorbike escort to ensure everyone remains safe.
Entry fee is $500 for adults, $250 for children. Everyone who enters receives a cycling bib to wear on the day.
We would greatly appreciate donations to sponsor a client’s bike rental so they can join us on the bike ride. Just add this option whilst registering.
